We are seeking an experienced and driven Training Manager to join our clients team in Uitenhage. This role is positioned within the liquor industry, with a strong focus on warehousing and retail operations. The Trainer Manager will be responsible for developing and executing training strategies that align with business goals and industry compliance standards, ensuring that all warehouse and retail staff are trained effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to warehousing and retail environments in the liquor industry.
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify performance gaps and upskilling opportunities.
- Lead and manage a team of trainers, ensuring high-quality training delivery.
- Oversee onboarding and induction of new staff in compliance with liquor industry regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with warehouse and retail managers to align training with operational goals.
- Stay informed about liquor industry laws, health and safety regulations, and retail best practices.
- Proven experience in a training or learning and development role, preferably in the liquor, retail, or warehousing sectors.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and compliance requirements.
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Education, Training, or related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on operational environment.
