Training Manager




As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for managing Client Trainers in the operations training delivery team. You will communicate and plan deadlines with the team and motivate and manage their performance. You will support the Head of Operations Training and Senior Training Manager with a range of tasks, as and when needed, to ensure the success of all training-related interventions.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like




You will lead and support a team of Client Trainers, helping them develop their skills so they can deliver engaging and effective training. You will make sure training is high quality and meets business needs, helping employees gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. You will work closely with operations, QA, and clients to understand training needs and suggest the best learning solutions. You will review training material and learning programmes, giving feedback and highlighting risks if they don't meet business or learner needs. You will manage induction training, making sure new hires have a smooth and well-structured introduction to their roles. You will oversee upskilling and refresher training, ensuring employees stay up to date with any changes in their roles. You will observe training sessions and give coaching and feedback to Client Trainers, helping them improve their delivery. You will plan and schedule training sessions, making sure we have the right resources available at the right time. You will track and audit training records, ensuring everything is logged correctly and kept up to date. You will ensure training assessments are completed, making sure employees understand and can apply what they've learned.



You will report on training completion rates, assessment results, and overall training impact, using data to improve future training. You will make sure all training standards and processes meet legal and regulatory requirements, keeping everything compliant and up to industry standards. You will use performance data and feedback to measure how effective training is and identify areas for improvement. You will work closely with internal teams and clients, keeping them informed and making sure training supports business and client goals. You will help share knowledge across teams, ensuring that employees and trainers have the right information when they need it. You will encourage a culture of learning and improvement, making sure training evolves based on feedback and business needs. You will stay up to date with the latest training techniques and industry trends, bringing in new ideas to improve our approach. You are organized, disciplined, and able to manage my time and workload. You are resilient and prepared to go the extra mile for the L&D Team, its Clients and People. You enjoy interacting and have an engaging nature with people. You have strong interpersonal communication skills and have solid experience delivering training sessions to know what a good session should look like. You can operate within the terms of Sigma's policies and procedures, always ensuring that all work and work-related activities are operated in accordance with legal requirements, including GDPR. You are adaptable to change and have an ability to acquire new and relevant skills and knowledge by taking appropriate responsibility for your own personal and professional development.

Requirements:



You have 1 year' experience of working in a similar management position. You have 3 years' experience working in a call center/BPO environment - desirable. You have experience in people management within an L&D environment or similar. You have a strong working knowledge of the client's processes, expectations, and systems. You have evidence of consistently achieving quantitative and qualitative performance measures. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are competent using MS Office. You can build and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and management. You demonstrate knowledge and understanding and positively promote equality of opportunity.
