Duties and responsibilities


  • Oversee xc2xb1 36 B Braun renal units with regards to Training, SOPS, Audits etc.
  • Travel to various units often to ensure B Braun correct clinical practices are followed according to policies.
  • Ensure a good working relationship is maintained between Regional Managers, unit staff and yourself.
  • Responsible for the management of Dialysis Water Quality for xc2xb1 36 B Braun renal units.
  • Responsible for the implementation and completion of all Knowledge Fox modules by unit staff.
  • Responsible for quality unit/patient care, and supervision/training of staff to ensure safe, effective and efficient processes are in place in accordance with B Braun standards.
  • Responsible for Basic Life Support training renewal for Healthcare providers.
  • Reporting on Internal and External clinical training with regards to B-BBEE.
  • Attend various meetings as and when required to ensure efficient running of the units.
  • Training and monitoring of both acute and chronic dialysis process on clinical application.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure that employees receive adequate training for their position.
  • Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, and cost in planning, delivering, and managing nursing professional development activities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and drive to upskill the nursing professionals in terms of processes.
  • Provide reports to Management for employee training needs.
  • Collaborate with current Training Facilitators to improve processes.
  • Responsible for the Mahogany Renal Trust.
  • Performs all other duties, tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Ensure Beneficiary of the Trust are placed in accredited unit and study through reputable Universities.
  • Prepare cash flow forecast yearly.
  • Conduct lectures to all students in relation to the Syllabus of respective universities.

Professional competencies


  • B. Tech Clinical Technologist (Nephrology) registered with HPCSA.
  • 5+ years Management Experience (essential).
  • Renal Experience (essential).
  • Unit Management Experience (advantageous).
  • Management Courses (advantageous).
  • Nephrology Course (advantageous).
  • Computer Literate (MS Excel xe2x80x93 Intermediate to Advanced / MS Word, MS Outlook).

Personal competencies


  • Valid drivers license.
  • Own reliable transport (essential).
  • Must be willing to travel independently (often to all assigned units).
