Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development strategy aligned with business objectives and statutory requirements (PSIRA, SETA, Department of Labour)
Conduct training needs analyses to identify skills gaps and operational requirements
Design, deliver, and manage training programmes (classroom, on-site, and e-learning) for cleaning and security operations
Oversee onboarding and induction programmes to ensure new employees are operationally ready
Coordinate SETA-accredited training, learnerships, and skills development initiatives
Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers, and assessments
Implement talent development frameworks, succession plans, and mentorship programs
Ensure compliance with all relevant labour and training regulations, including PSIRA, SETA, BCEA, and OHSA
Liaise with operations, HR, and external training providers to align learning objectives with operational outcomes
What you'll need
5-7+ years' proven experience in Training & Development, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity
Experience in Contract Cleaning and Private Security industries is essential
National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, or Industrial Psychology
Strong knowledge of operational environments, compliance standards, and client service expectations
Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
High attention to detail and administrative accuracy
Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationally
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
