Job Summary What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development strategy aligned with business objectives and statutory requirements (PSIRA, SETA, Department of Labour)
• Conduct training needs analyses to identify skills gaps and operational requirements
• Design, deliver, and manage training programmes (classroom, on-site, and e-learning) for cleaning and security operations
• Oversee onboarding and induction programmes to ensure new employees are operationally ready
• Coordinate SETA-accredited training, learnerships, and skills development initiatives
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers, and assessments
• Implement talent development frameworks, succession plans, and mentorship programs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labour and training regulations, including PSIRA, SETA, BCEA, and OHSA
• Liaise with operations, HR, and external training providers to align learning objectives with operational outcomes

What you'll need

• 5-7+ years' proven experience in Training & Development, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity
• Experience in Contract Cleaning and Private Security industries is essential
• National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, or Industrial Psychology
• ETDP SETA Assessor/Moderator registration advantageous
• Strong knowledge of operational environments, compliance standards, and client service expectations
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
• High attention to detail and administrative accuracy
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationally
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
