Training Coordinator Food Manufacturing - ParowThe Training Coordinator in the food manufacturing industry is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training programs that ensure compliance with industry standards, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) protocols. This role plays a critical part in promoting a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality within the organization.Salary: Market-related CTCPosition Type: Permanent - Office based onlyStart Date: ASAPIndustry: Food ManufacturingMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.Proven 5+ years experience in training and development within the food manufacturing industry.In-depth understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse teams.Excellent organizational and administrative skills.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and training software/platforms.Key Responsibilities:Training Program Development:Design and develop training materials and courses tailored to food safety practices, HACCP principles, and operational procedures.Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations to identify knowledge gaps.HACCP Compliance:Ensure that all training programs comply with HACCP guidelines and other food safety regulations.Conduct training sessions to educate staff on HACCP principles, critical control points, and regulatory requirements.Implementation and Delivery:Schedule and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels.Utilize various training methods, including classroom instruction, online resources, and hands-on demonstrations.Monitoring and Evaluation:Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.Continuously refine trainingMaintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and assessment outcomes.Prepare reports on training effectiveness and compliance status for management review.Collaboration:Work closely with department heads and operational staff to ensure training aligns with specific departmental needs and production processes.Partner with external training providers, if necessary, to enhance training offerings.Stay Informed:Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to food safety and HACCP.Participate in relevant professional development and training programs to enhance personal knowledge and skills.Safety and Quality Assurance:Promote a culture of food safety and quality among all employees.Assist in conducting internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with training requirements and industry standards.Application Process:Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter outlining their relevant experience and qualifications online
