Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Animal Science or Agriculture. ETD-related qualification (Advanced Diploma/Certificate). Minimum 5 years in a poultry production environment. At least 2 years in a training facilitation role. Assessor & Moderator certificates (advantageous). Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Valid driver's license and own transportation as the role requires travelling

Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and employee development requirements, aligning training initiatives with organisational goals. Coordinate with managers, HSE, and HR teams to align training with compliance and needs Facilitate theoretical and hands-on practical sessions for employees across levels. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for improvement as well as budget analysis for each division. Maintain training records and assist with Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs) and Annual Training Reports (ATRs). Drive internal youth development and succession planning strategies. Coordinate all training activities and liaise with poultry-focused training providers. Ensure compliance through re-certification planning and accurate training documentation. * Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and report on outcomes.
