You will also be responsible for compiling crucial statutory and non-statutory reports, providing valuable insights into our training effectiveness and ROI. Qualifications

  • Relevant Degree/Diploma (e.g. Human Resources Management).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • At least 3 years experience working in the Learning and Development (L&D) field and working with an LMS.
  • Proven experience in the set-up and maintenance of a Learner Management System (LMS).
  • Compiling and submitting the WSP/ATR onto the W&R SETA system.
  • Compiling and submitting the BBB-EE Report onto the relevant system.
  • Ability to work with big data sets accurately.
  • Proven ability to analyse data and create value adding reports that show the ROI of T&D.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the W&R SETA or any SETA.
  • Knowledge of BBB-EE requirements for Skills Development.
  • Experience in project management with the proven ability to create structure, manage and influence various role players and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace is a strong advantage.
  • Experience using SQL, Power BI and/or Looker Studio is a strong advantage.
  • Strong propensity for doing research and finding innovative ways to maximize the potential of the LMS.
  • Attention to detail is of extreme importance.
  • Being able to solve problems in a creative and collaborative way.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to explain things in a simplistic and effective manner.
  • Maintain relationships with Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts at all levels in the business.
  • Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
  • Experience in Retail is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all technical aspects of the LMS, i.e. user enrolment, course management, reporting,etc.
  • Capture all training initiatives on the T&D database and manage the database according to the required deadlines.
  • Compile and submit all T&D reports, including WSP/ATR and BBB-EE reports.
  • Developing metrics to improve the reporting capabilities of the T&D team and show ROI of training interventions to the business.
  • Keep up to date on the latest LMS & Authoring Tool developments and trends in order to maximize the potential of the LMS.
  • Managing external service providers to deliver e-learning programmes and /or content as per the SLA and agreed upon timelines.
