AFGRI Milling has an opportunity for a Trainee Miller who will undergo training over a period of thirty-six (36) months. ,

The training will comprise onxe2x80x93thexe2x80x93job training and formal academic training offered by the Grain Milling Federation (GMF).

This opportunity is targeted at BBBEE candidates

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematics Literature passed with a C Grade.
• Physical capability to climb staircases and perform tasks at elevated heights.
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office will be an advantage
• Capacity to maintain focus and perform effectively under pressure.
• The successful applicant will be required to enter into a training agreement.
• The applicant must attain and maintain a satisfactory level of proficiency, passing all training courses on the initial attempt.
• This training opportunity is open to applicants aged 18 - 22 years
• The candidate will be stationed in Clocolan (Free State) throughout the training period and must be willing to relocate to Clocolan.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Support efforts to optimize the efficiency of all milling equipment and ensure that work instructions are carried out.
• Assist in minimising downtime of the Mill.
• Assist in reducing waste, spillage and rejections of products.
• Comply with the companyxe2x80x99s world-class manufacturing and performance standards.
• Assist to maintain and improve the visual appearance of all milling equipment.
• Assist in optimising the efficient running of all milling machinery.
