Position Overview

Woolpert Africa is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as full-time Trainee Geospatial Editors based in our Cape Town office on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs. We are committed to developing young talent by providing hands-on experience with cutting-edge geospatial technologies in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.



This is an in-office position located at:

9 Silverwood Close, Suite 1, Silvermine House, Steenberg Office Park, Tokai, Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit ortho photos using Adobe Photoshop. Perform basic geospatial digital map interpretation and editing, including daily processing of geospatial data. Evaluate data for accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with applicable project and industry aerial mapping standards. Assist senior technicians with various duties, maintenance, and other related tasks. Follow all Quality Management Procedures as outlined. Manage individual deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned work. Perform other duties as assigned to support project needs.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric certificate (having Geography as a subject is advantageous). Must not use cannabis or any illicit substances (drug screening will be conducted). No prior experience needed, full training will be provided.
