Position: Train Branding Supervisor

Location: Dunnotar (Between Springs and Nigel), Gauteng

Role Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 14 employees involved in passenger train branding projects. While experience in train branding is preferred, it is not mandatory, as your primary focus will be on management and coordination.

Minimum Qualification Criteria and Skills:

  • Matric
  • Certification in Branding or Marketing would be advantageous
  • 1-2 years Train or Vehicle Branding/Wrapping Experience would be advantageous
  • Valid SA Driver License
Character Skills:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving mind-set with a focus on finding solutions.
  • Proactive in seeking assistance when needed.
  • Diplomatic and assertive in client interactions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Effective Management: Lead and manage a team of 14 people composed of 2 team leaders, each responsible for a team of six individuals working towards achieving predefined targets.
  • Involves maintaining discipline when necessary and providing recognition and encouragement when milestones are met or progress is observed.
  • Communication Expertise: Regular communication is crucial for the success of our projects.
  • Responsible for reporting to senior management and clients through daily email updates.
  • Enter tracking information into applications to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Problem Solving: Required to be proactive and identify problems within the team's workflow, analyze inefficiencies and propose effective solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster open and effective communication within the team, ensuring that concerns and grievances are addressed promptly.
  • Client Relations: Diplomatically represent our team when dealing with clients.
  • Effective communication with clients is essential to prevent misunderstandings and dissatisfaction.
  • Managing requests from multiple clients by providing clear resource availability and suggesting better coordination strategies.
