Job Description
RPO Recruitment is currently looking for a skilled Traffic and Transport Engineer to join our client in the engineering consulting industry in Cape Town. As a Traffic and Transport Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expertise in traffic engineering and transportation planning for various projects.
Responsibilities
- Conducting traffic impact assessments and traffic studies
- Developing transportation plans and solutions to improve traffic flow
- Designing and implementing traffic management systems
- Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Preparing technical reports and presenting findings to clients and project teams
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning
- Proficiency in traffic engineering software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local traffic regulations and transportation planning standards
- Salary: negotiable
