Trader (frozen Foods Industry)

Job Description

Outsource is looking to employ a trader, the ideal candidate is client-driven, entrepreneurial and thrives in a collaborative environment that leads initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to grow existing accounts and build new business.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop business opportunities in the market.
Buying products on the market at a low price and selling it at a higher price.
Identifying gaps in the market and capitalising on them.
To work closely with the trading team developing existing markets and
running their own markets and clients.
Requirements:
Proven experience trading in the frozen food industry.
Excellent timekeeper able to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
Be client-driven and service oriented.
Be strongly self-motivated, able to develop business opportunities.
Have excellent communication skills.
Always be flexible and available.
Initiative-taker.
Core Qualifications:
Excellent salesmanship and ability to close a deal
In-depth knowledge of the frozen food industry
Understanding of nutrition and the basic benefits or dangers of specific foods
Available to travel when necessary and work nights or weekends if needed
Exceptional mathematics skills needed to perform calculations and give estimates
Capable of working independently or with a group of other Food Sales
Representatives
Thorough in all account paperwork and recordkeeping
Salary between (R20 000 -R60 000) depending on experience.
