TRADE TESTED MOTOR MECHANIC - Montague Gardens - R20 000 - R25 000 pm + Medical Contributions

Auto repair and car service seeks a Mechanic seeks an experienced and talented qualified technician to join their dynamic team in a top-rated mechanical workshop.

In this position, you will be responsible for repairing and servicing of all vehicles, of all brands like Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz and Volkswagen etc.

To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanics tools, services, and diagnostic equipment.

Excellent communication and diagnostic and service skills to effectively diagnose and fix right the first time.

You will perform vehicle assessments and conduct regular maintenance on automotive vehicles, assemble mechanical components according to specifications and complete job cards accurate with repairs and parts required, and maintenance records. In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Proof of Trade Test will be required.

A valid South African drivers licence.

Must be computer literate.

High school diploma and certification from a trade school is preferred.

A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.

Work experience on all makes and models.

In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.

Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.

Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested

Performing minor and major services.

Being able to do a full overhaul of all vehicle components is very important
