Trackless Mobile Machinery: Maintenance Engineer: Mining Industry: Northern CapeQualification Requirement:Grade 12 (Required)

  • GCC Certificate Opencast and Underground Mines (Required)
  • National Diploma Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Alternative).
Experience and other Requirements:
  • Eight (8) Years Engineering or Maintenance Services and Projects Experience (Required)
  • Five (5) Years Section Engineer, Planned Maintenance and Workshop Management
  • Experience in a Trackless Mobile Machinery and Rail or Heavy Engineering Industry (Required)
  • Five (5) Years Management Experience (Required)
  • Valid Code B Driving License (Required).
Required Competencies:
  • Professional Status: ECSA- Recommended
  • Behavioral Competencies: Business Acumen, Leadership Skills, Relationship Building
  • Skills, Results Driven and Change Leadership Skills
  • System Skills: Electronic Document Management System, Enterprise Resource Planning

  • Legal Requirements: Section 2.13.1 Mine Health and Safety Act
  • Technical Competency: Generic Engineering.

  • Implement operations effectiveness model and practice.
  • Promote and enforce compliance and comply with IMS Standards.
  • Plan, direct and assess quality management within function.

  • TMM engineering management.
  • Implement cost control systems.
  • Internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Implement and manage people.
  • Development initiatives.
  • People development and identify training gaps.
