Key Purpose:



The Tracking Controller is responsible for monitoring and managing the real-time movement and performance of company vehicles. Using advanced telematics systems, the role ensures vehicle safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and company standards

Key Areas of Responsibility:



1. Fleet Monitoring and Management:



Monitor real-time activities of company vehicles using systems such as Mix telematics, ICAM, DriveCam, and Seeing Machines. Track vehicle locations, routes, and schedules to ensure operational efficiency. Identify and respond to safety alerts, including driver fatigue, speeding, and harsh braking.

2. Operational Coordination:



Communicate with drivers and provide real-time updates or support regarding schedules, routes, or operational challenges. Collaborate with dispatchers and maintenance teams to address vehicle or operational issues promptly.

3. Incident Response and Resolution:



Handle incidents such as route deviations, vehicle breakdowns, or unsafe driving behaviors. Escalate significant issues to the Operations Manager and assist in implementing corrective actions.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting:



Analyze telematics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or risks within vehicle operations. Prepare regular reports on driver performance, fuel efficiency, and fleet utilization for management review.

5. Compliance and Safety Assurance:



Ensure adherence to company policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements. Provide feedback to drivers on performance improvements and safety practices.

Qualifications and Experience



Education:



Diploma or degree in Logistics, Transportation, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:



2-3 years of experience in fleet monitoring, operations, or logistics. Proficiency in telematics systems such as Mix telematics, ICAM, Drive Cam, and Seeing Machines. Computer Literate Fuel Industry Experience Skills and Competencies: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to fleet management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



Safety Compliance: Reduction in incidents caused by unsafe driving behaviors. Fleet Efficiency: Optimized vehicle routes and improved fuel consumption. Response Time: Prompt resolution of incidents or alerts. Data Accuracy: Timely and precise reporting on fleet performance.

Note: This role may require shift work and availability during off-hours to ensure 24/7 operational oversight of the fleet.
