Technical Sales Representative (TSR) -
Eastern Cape

As TSR you will be responsible for owning the CP and Biological Portfolio sales budget in your designated Area.
You Will Be Part of Growing Team
As a dynamic TSR, you will drive market penetration of Corteva's Crop Protection and Biological portfolio in strategically important crops. You will apply technical and account management principles to support distribution agents and dealers and guide them through commercial processes to ensure sustainable growth and customer success.
Your Challenge:
Commercial management: planning and executing a regional action plan for the assigned region with your Area Sales Lead.
Sales: ensuring the attainment of monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Account management:
+ Responsible for managing and delivering PO for selected accounts in your region of South Africa.
+ Ensuring good market penetration by utilizing effective go-to-market strategies in key area crops in the region
+ Establish strategic relationships with customers, ensuring constructive collaboration on launching of new projects and sustainable support on off-patent products.
+ Managing short commercial growth objectives with customers and new product introduction strategies with key customers.
+ Ensuring effective delivery of Regional Sales strategy between Agronomist in allocated region on portfolio positioning and execution. Operational excellence: collaborate with Supply Chain and Customer Service organizations to ensure timeous supply and efficient order-to-cash processes for the Region.
Forecasting: maintain and find ways to improve forecasting accuracy by securing customers forecasts and validating forecast.
Drive functional dynamics in line with growth targets for portfolio targets
Align with Agronomist Trial plans to ensure the company's short and middle-long term commercial strategy.

Key Stakeholders and Interactions
The position will require engagement with Commercials Sales team initiatives working closely with other Area Sales Leads aligned with guidance from technical, commercial excellence and portfolio staff.
There will be routine engagement with Corteva channel partners to align and resolve commercial processes to ensure market penetration of CP and Biological portfolio. The role will require extensive travel as much as 50-90% of working time depending on season cadence.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
Minimum of 2 years sales experience
Preferably a BSc in Agriculture or related degree
Fully fluent in English/Afrikaans
Strong network with Industry affiliations preferable
BASOS and Crop protection qualification (AVCASA or similar)
Code B drivers license
