Our client, a national medium-sized and fast paced Electrical contracting company, seeks to employ an experienced Estimating /Tender Administrator, for their busy operation in Cape Town.
Please Note that the role requires a candidate with a strong background in tender preparation administration and tendering/estimating practices, specifically in construction and electrical disciplines.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have completed Matric, (a tertiary qualification highly advantageous), coupled with 3-5 years experience in tender/estimating support, specifically in the construction and/or Electrical sector.

• You will have a solid background in reviewing plans, calculating pricing and quoting on planned projects, as well as experience in tender sourcing, tender compilation, providing data for tender purposes and providing the Estimator with both procurement, supplier and technical administrative support.

• You will have a high level of multitasking to be able to source tenders, evaluate the viability collate documents required from various departments for completion, be an organised and effective planner to prioritise and schedule tasks according to deadlines for both tender and customer directly.

• Experience in legislation for CIDB, BBEEE and related would be essential

• You will have exceptional interpersonal skills, effectively communicate at all levels, lead by example and deliver results in a high-pressure environment, meeting national standards.

• You will have advanced skills in Excel highly advantageous

• You will have a valid driver's license and preferably own vehicle to be able to collect and deliver tenders

Preference will be given to candidates' resident in the Western Cape, however, should you be suitable and qualified, and wish to apply but be resident outside of the Western Cape, any cost incurred for interviews or relocation will be at your own expense.
