Job Description


We are currently seeking a mature, motivated and reliable Temporary Receptionist in the Southern Suburbs (Rhondebosch) . As a Temporary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our office.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner, must be well presented
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members
  • Operate a busy switchboard and screening calls
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned
  • Able to multitask
  • Booking of rooms/venues via Outlook
Requirements:
  • Matric Certificate
  • Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role
  • Patient and accomodative to elderly clients
