Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled
Temporary Accountant
to join our finance team for a7-month contract
. This role will provide critical support during budgeting, reporting, and the annual audit cycle while covering for a team member on leave. Given the temporary nature of this contract, preference will be given to candidates already based in Meyerton or surrounding areas..Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage
budgets
in line with company requirements. Process and reviewfinancial journals
accurately and on time. Compile and analyzemonthly management accounts
. Assist withannual audit preparations
and liaise with auditors. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.Minimum Requirements
BCom Accounting
degree or anAccounting diploma
(essential). Proven work experience infinancial accounting and reporting
. Strong knowledge ofSage Evolution
(essential). Previous exposure tobudgeting, management accounts, and audits
. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.Contract Details
