Fresh Bake is looking for a friendly, detail-driven
Telesales Desk & Customer Liaison
to capture orders, support our customers, and keep daily sales and dispatch paperwork running smoothly. You'll work closely with Operations, Sales, Dispatch, Drivers, and Accounts.
What You'll Do: Telesales (Primary)
Answer incoming calls quickly and professionally; provide clear, helpful service
Capture orders accurately (items, quantities, prices, delivery/pickup details)
Create basic quotes/estimates and production orders
Manage standing/recurring orders and special instructions
Validate order accuracy before confirming; correct errors promptly
Print/prepare reports, picking sheets, and invoices
Maintain up-to-date customer details and delivery notes
Follow pricing/discount rules and escalate exceptions appropriately
Log calls and daily sales notes; collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues
Dispatch Support (As Needed)
Use the ERP (training provided) for simple stock checks/adjustments as instructed
Print and match picking slips, invoices, and delivery notes
Help verify loads, returns, and damages
Assist with driver handovers and route files
Support end-of-day paperwork
Cash Office Support (As Needed)
Perform end-of-shift cash-ups (cash, card slips, invoices)
Record and secure floats; reconcile variances immediately
Prepare banking and keep tidy, accurate files

Clear, friendly phone manner; solid written communication (WhatsApp/email)
Fast, dependable execution without compromising quality
Proactive problem-solving and good judgment on when to escalate
Computer confidence; willing to learn
Team player with reliable handovers at shift end
Commitment to hygiene, food-safe practices, and responsible handling of customer data (POPIA principles)
Schedule & Work Environment
6 days per week
Day and night shifts
; operations can run long--
up to 12 hours/day
Public holidays
may be required as part of the schedule
Uniform/PPE as relevant to dispatch (company shirt/clean neat clothing; hair net/cap; safety shoes if required; gloves when handling product)
Success Looks Like
Near-perfect order accuracy
Calls answered promptly (ideally within 3 rings)
All orders logged; daily reports printed and filed
Complete dispatch packs with zero missing documents
Clean cash-ups with no unexplained variances
Professional, helpful conduct and strong attendance/timekeeping
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R6500,00 - R8500,00 per month
