Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by contacting potential or existing customers to promote products and services.
  • Assist walk-in clients with product advice and small project cost/quantity estimations.
  • Follow up on quotations to close deals and support future sales.
  • Resolve customer issues by liaising with relevant departments.
  • Support the Sales Representative in the absence of the Sales Coordinator by preparing estimations, quotations, and sales orders.
  • Provide relief support at the sales counter as required.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and a professional, solution-driven approach.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in telesales or a similar sales/customer service role, ideally in the building industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, particularly via phone.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials and related products.
  • Familiarity with sales and communication tools (e.g., Retail IQ software, telephone and email systems).
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle customer complaints with professionalism.
  • Ability to learn and confidently explain products and services to prospects.
