Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and visionary leader to take full ownership of the evolution and health of multiple technology or domain assets. This role demands a proactive approach to asset stewardship, ensuring long-term sustainability, innovation, and alignment with business goals. The successful candidate will also play a pivotal leadership role within the associated Centers of Excellence (COEs), driving best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Asset Ownership & Evolution
+ Lead the strategic roadmap and lifecycle management of multiple technology or domain assets.+ Ensure assets remain relevant, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and business needs.
+ Monitor and maintain asset health, performance, and compliance.
Leadership in COEs
+ Serve as a thought leader and influencer within relevant Centers of Excellence.+ Foster collaboration across teams to promote innovation, standardization, and excellence.
+ Champion the adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies.
Stakeholder Engagement
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, operations, and business units.+ Communicate asset strategy, performance, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Governance & Risk Management
+ Define and enforce governance models for asset usage and evolution.+ Identify and mitigate risks associated with asset performance, security, and obsolescence.
Qualifications:
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Experience:
Proven experience in business analysis within complex organizational environments. Proven experience in technology asset management, enterprise architecture, or domain leadership. Strong understanding of IT governance, lifecycle management, and strategic planning. Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams or COEs. * Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
