The Technician reports directly to the Technical Manager/Supervisor or Branch Manager and is responsible for testing, replacing and/or repairing of faulty stock as well as assemblies which will include RAID systems, Custom PCs, mini-PCs and Upgrade kits, as well as doing Technical Support on all Syntech products. Working closely with the individual team members to identify and realise their personal growth opportunities within the organisation.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience
Grade 12 or similar
At least 5 Years of Technical experience in IT industry
Relevant IT products and industry knowledge
Experience with software Operating Systems (Windows, Android, Linux etc.)
Knowledge of networking
A+ Certification or equivalent

Duties and Responsibilities
Receiving and booking-in of Faulty Products.
Assessing/testing faulty and new product
Generate technical reports
Maintain inventory control
Assembling Mini PCs, RAID systems, Custom PCs and Upgrade kits
Technical support on Syntech Products
* Fault finding and installing of components and products
