This involves meticulous planning, coordination, and execution to guarantee that all assets are moved efficiently and securely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. The Technician adheres to safety protocols and industry standards to protect both personnel and equipment, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance throughout the site.What you will be doingInspect, service, and repair heavy earthmoving machinery powered by diesel engines.Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.Perform scheduled maintenance and ensure equipment complies with safety and environmental standards.Maintain service records and complete repair documentation.Operate equipment to test performance and verify repairs.Respond to standby calls and perform breakdown repairs on-site when required.Maintain accurate maintenance records and report issues to supervisors.Follow all company safety policies and proceduresProvide detailed reports or feedback particularly regarding the work progress at the end of every shift.What you will bringQualification & experience:Relevant Diploma in Mechnical/ electrical engineeringTrade Test Certification4- 6 years working experience2- 3 years of experience in mining, oil & gas or engineering industriesAdditional Skills and Knowledge:Mechanical Knowledge: A strong understanding of diesel engines and related systems.Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.Attention to Detail: Precision in performing maintenance and repairs.Communication Skills: Clear communication with clients and team members.Adaptability: Staying updated with new technologies and maintaining a focus on safety and efficiencyWhat we offerAs part of a truly global company, you will have the ability to grow and learn in a diverse, collaborative culture.
