MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide specialised technical support to hospitals as well as training and support for non-clinical technician staff working on equipment in smaller hospitals. In addition, the job involves training and mentoring of clinical technicians and clinical technician trainees.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
National Diploma in Engineering: Electrical: (Light current or Clinical)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
3 years' experience as a clinical technician
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
5 years' experience as a clinical technician
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Understanding of SAP and Utilisation of SAP reports
- Microsoft Suite
- Exposure to training
- An understanding of OHS
- An in depth understanding of medical equipment
- An understanding of Infection control principles
- Project Management
- Financial principles
- Understanding of Planned maintenance procedures (Medquip and Xry)
- Mediclinic policies and procedures
