Specific Duties Include:
xe2x9dx91 Build and maintain sound relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, and business partners.
xe2x9dx91 Grow current business with existing customers.
xe2x9dx91 Obtain and develop new prospective customers.
xe2x9dx91 Provide technical support to prospective customers during lab-scale tests and production trials.
xe2x9dx91 Accurate reporting and compilation of market information
xe2x9dx91 Liaise with suppliers and provide regular status updates and feedback on current sales projects
Knowledge
xe2x9dx91 Grade 12 / Matric
xe2x9dx91 Formal training in food science, technology and/or chemical field
xe2x9dx91 Any formal sales & marketing related skills
xe2x9dx91 Financial and business acumen / value-add thinking.
xe2x9dx91 Bilingual English & Afrikaans
Experience
xe2x9dx91 Competent in selling and marketing of tangible products (Preferable)
xe2x9dx91 Skilled in market research, new customer canvassing and service of existing customers
xe2x9dx91 Minimum of 7 years working experience in Sales Position / Technical Services Management / Business

Technical Skills
xe2x9dx91 Specialized in technical sales of technical products for food, chemical or animal feed.
xe2x9dx91 Computer literate and familiar with standard MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
xe2x9dx91 Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
xe2x9dx91 Strong planning and organisation skills.
xe2x9dx91 Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
xe2x9dx91 Well trained in all areas of sales and marketing
