Van Schoor Gate, a leader in the design, production and distribution of top-quality animal equipment, gates, and fencing material, has the abovementioned position based in Philadelphia (between Durbanville and Malmesbury, Western Cape). This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic self-starter with a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate is technically minded, takes initiative, has excellent interpersonal skills and wants to grow with the business in the long term. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for expanding Van Schoor's markets, new product development and marketing, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role also includes operational responsibilities, which will be a growth area. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: A relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Engineering or related field; At least 3 years relevant experience in Agriculture, Production or Sales; Experience in the co-op environment, agricultural schooling, and growing up on a farm will be advantageous; Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English); Excellent computer skills (MS Office); Valid drivers license and own reliable transport; Willingness to travel.
