Job Category: SalesDegree Level: Bachelor's Degree:The Technical Sales Manager is an integrated role that combines the technical expertise of a Sales Solution Manager (SSM) with the customer relationship management and sales skills of an Account Manager (AM). This role is responsible for driving sales of optimal solutions to customers (direct and indirect via partners) by providing technical expertise, developing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and creating and winning opportunities.Responsibilities:As a Technical Sales Manager at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in bridging technical expertise and customer relationship management within our dynamic team.You will drive sales by crafting innovative solutions that meet customer needs, fostering strong partnerships with both clients, partners and internal teams.In this collaborative environment, your insights will shape sales strategies and help navigate complex challenges, empowering you to take ownership of customer engagements.You'll work alongside experts from various functions, ensuring alignment and facilitating seamless communications.Your contributions will be essential in achieving our financial objectives and expanding our presence in the enterprise, industry and public sectors in Southern Africa. With a focus on innovation and teamwork, you'll thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere that champions growth and encourages creative problem-solving.Qualifications:You have:

  • Extensive knowledge of the enterprise and industry sectors in Africa
  • At least 10 years of experience in a consultative, solution-oriented selling or business development role
  • Strong technical background in technology or system integration within the enterprise domain
  • Familiarity with private networks and infrastructure services in telecommunications
It would be nice if you also had:
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships at a C-level
  • Expertise in developing pricing strategies and contract negotiations
  • A proven track record of identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • In-depth understanding of solution architectures and private wireless use cases
