Technical Sales Manager: Polymers Plastic And Rubber
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive the growth and development of chemical products within the Polymers industry, with a focus on Plastics and Rubber. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the import and distribution of chemical products, along with a deep understanding of working with overseas suppliers, local customers, and industry stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include managing a defined product range, growing sales, and providing technical assistance to both existing and prospective customers. Candidates should have a degree or diploma in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering, coupled with 5+ years of relevant experience in product management or sales engineering. Strong numeracy skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a solid understanding of management accounts and finance are essential.
This role is based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a leading international chemical trading and distribution group.
