Responsibilities:
Responsible for the planning and execution of marketing and sales strategy to ensure that sales targets and objectives are achieved.
Plan, organise and control the sales activities of the organisation in Gauteng region and other areas as and when identified.
Understanding and predicting macro-economic climate affecting our customers and their market.
Develop a deep understanding of customer product capabilities and where our product range can be used.
Responsible to build sound relationships with key customers.
Establish customer needs for our products and services and obtain customer briefs.
Arrange product presentations to customers.
Identify new customers and determine where the product range can be used.
Responsible to ensure that price increases are negotiated with clients as required.
Research and interpret market and product trends.
Identify gaps and product development opportunities.
Do product costing and produce quote letters, when required.
Save all customer related information to be accessible to the team.
Coordinate and assist with product launches.
Manage and coordinate the Technical team on customer briefs to obtain the desired outcome.
Keeps immediate manager informed of competitor activity and customer status.
Interacts with appropriate members of the operations team to solve problems.
Managing safe and confidential storage of companys information.

Requirements:
Food/Consumer Science or Food Technology
3 Yrs Sales Experience
Fluency in English is essential
Negotiate with internal and external parties
Crisis management
Must have a valid drivers licence
Able to travel
