As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be a key player in generating revenue, building relationships, and identifying sales opportunities within the industrial energy sector. Your responsibilities will include:

• Client Engagement: Solicit and obtain orders by understanding and interpreting technical requirements and presenting compelling solutions

• Account Development: Develop and nurture client accounts, building rapport and trust.
• Quotation Preparation: Prepare detailed and accurate quotations that showcase the value of our products and services.
• Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of electrical equipment, including motors, low voltage switchgear, automation equipment, boilers, and burners (coal, gas, and oil) to provide informed technical information to clients.
• Market Analysis: Keep a finger on the industry pulse by analyzing competitor information and trends, allowing us to stay ahead.
• Customer Focus: Maintain clear communication with clients, from order placement to delivery, ensuring their needs are met.
• Problem Solving: Use your analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and provide focused solutions.

Your Qualifications:

• Education: Hold a Matric/Grade 12 certificate. A sales qualification would be a valuable asset.
• Sales Experience: Proven experience in generating revenue and managing accounts, with technical sales experience being highly advantageous.
• Technical Know-How: Familiarity with electrical equipment, motors, switchgear, automation equipment, boilers, and burners is beneficial.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit good interpersonal skills to work effectively within a diverse team.
• Motivation: Thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment, displaying professionalism, confidence, and a positive attitude.
