I am seeking a dynamic individual to manage a portfolio of designated clients, cultivating enduring and reliable relationships. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the diverse products and services offered by my client within the industry, and developing an in-depth technical proficiency regarding product advantages and their implications for end users.

The primary objective of the Sales Engineer is to assist the Regional/Area Manager in achieving the annual targets for the respective region, thereby contributing significantly to their clients' overall yearly goals.

Education:

• High school diploma (Matric).
• Mechanical Engineering qualification - BEng or BSc in Engineering.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and project management tools.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Capability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
• Profound analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience with pumps is essential.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Collect pertinent and value-adding information about assigned clients.
• Engage with clients to grasp their needs and execute the sales strategy.
• Provide post-sales support to ensure customer retention.
• Ensure timely and precise responses to client inquiries.
• Cultivate robust client relationships through regular communication.
• Report on the status of client accounts.
• Propose PABT products/services that optimize client satisfaction.
• Clearly communicate product and pricing details as needed.
• Collaborate with the Regional/Area Manager to devise tailored sales plans for key clients.
• Introduce new products/services to existing customers.
• Conduct pump commissioning activities.
• Undertake site visits.
• Monitor pump reliability.
• Identify and open new sites/clients.
