Our client was founded in 1981 and focuses on manufacturing, marketing and distributing technological animal feed additives, and disinfectant products for animal feed, livestock, and food. They have an exciting permanent Technical Sales Advisor: Biosecurity position available in Gauteng.

Product and Market:
Product: Detergents and Disinfectants for Biosecurity in the Livestock Industry.
Market: Serving poultry farms, hatcheries, piggeries, and dairies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Master technical and conceptual aspects of our product range, delivering professional expertise.
• Analyze customer needs, provide expert advice, recommend suitable products, and adeptly address inquiries and concerns.
• Effectively communicate technical product details and usage concepts to diverse audiences.
• Craft comprehensive customer reports and technical proposals for innovative product solutions.
• Cultivate enduring relationships to foster loyalty within our customer base.
• Identify and seize new opportunities to expand and diversify our customer portfolio.
• Monitor sales, contributing monthly reports to the management team.
• Research and interpret market trends, driving feedback on new product developments.

• Education: Grade 12 and a relevant degree or diploma (BCom / BSc preferred).
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years' proven success within the realm of Technical Sales.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively, covering distances exceeding 4,000 km, with 5+ nights away each month.
• Business Acumen: Demonstrated commercially minded approach, aligning strategies with business goals.
• This position calls on customers within South Africa and Botswana, willingness to travel extensively is essential.
