• Monitor and provide market intelligence which forms the basis of identifying key strategic issues facing customer portfolios
• To plan, manage and execute multiple projects at customer sites in line with HSEQ policies and industry best practice
• To plan, manage and execute activities and services in line with meeting customer objectives and company objectives
• Compile and distribute daily, weekly and monthly feedback to customers on projects and daily activities related to explosives supply and activities (to customer and line management)
• Facilitate product and application training (surface and underground)
• Assist the mine in preparing project proposals and explosive related budgets
• Key account management: establish relationships with key decision makers and ensure customer satisfaction objectives are monitored and met
• Liaise daily with all mining personnel including Managers, Mine Overseers and Explosives Department
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Prepare blast designs and technical recommendations as per customer requirements (efficiencies, blast designs and best practice guidelines)
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
• Internal monthly reporting and compliance
• Managing and supervising project leaders and their daily activities and responsibilities
• Manage and report on weekly/monthly SHEQ compliance in area of responsibility
• Review forecasting and budgets submitted by project leaders in area of responsibility

• Matric / Grade 12
• Mining National Diploma or Mining Degree would be preferable
• Underground blasting certificate
• Explosives Engineer Qualification (Advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years mining experience in a production environment
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience, managing teams
• Valid medical certificate and fitness to work in underground hot and cool mines
• Valid driverxe2x80x99s license
• Mine Overseerxe2x80x99s certificate (advantageous)
• Completed underground modules for Explosives Engineerxe2x80x99s course
• Computer literate essential (Microsoft Office)
