Our Client based in Cape Town is looking to employ a well experienced Technical Representative to join their team.

A proudly South African company producing a wide range of premium vehicle accessories, who has been designing, building and supplying innovative, quality-approved products for the Original Equipment Manufacturersxe2x80x99 vehicle and lifestyle markets.

Key Performance requirements:

• Responsible for fitments and supporting the customer base both directly and indirectly by assisting them with technical issues / training pertaining to our products, the rectification of perceived poor quality or damaged products, answering questions from customers and prospective customers about the features and capabilities of our products and communicating customer needs and wishes to our development and engineering staff.
• Fitting of products / accessories onto vehicles.
• Ensure that all damaged bars are returned to the company Head Office.
• Assist dealers with missing fitment kits, incomplete kits and damaged bars.
• Assist and provide advice to others in the group with fitment issues or any other problem that can lead to continuous improvements.
• Assist R&D with fitment confirmations or technical feedback with all our customers at OEM, Dealer and Fitment Centre levels.
• Training of fitment staff at customers.
• Providing technical support to dealers and customers as required and solving of technical issues.
• Repairing of scratched or dented bars.
• Technical product training on company products.
• Communicating of all quality complaints and other issues on company products to head office for action.
• Recording of and following up on replacement bars using reference numbers.
• Provide prompt and efficient service to all customers in conjunction with the sales representatives.
• Any perceived poor quality or damaged products to be rectified and resolved.
• Oversee and co-ordinate stock movements in the Cape Town Warehouse, customer deliveries and interface with the local courier service provider.
• Monthly stock take.
• Calculate monthly truck stock requirements for customers in the Western Cape Area.
• Oversee the receipt and return of defective parts on all Dealer, Limited Editions and Fitment Centres in your area.
• Taking photos of new products for brochures.
• Following up with couriers regarding non delivery of invoiced products to dealers.
• Complete and submit weekly technical call report.
• Assist Sales Rep on customer calls and grow the business and its reputation as the preferred supplier in SA.
