Job Summary Minimum Requirements:

• National "N" Studies or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in the automotive industry a strong advantage.
• Previous fitment (automotive) experience essential.

Key Performance Requirements:

• Responsible for fitments and supporting customer base both directly and indirectly.
• Assisted them with technical issues / training pertaining to the products.
• Rectify perceived poor quality or damaged products.
• Ensure that all damaged bars are returned.
• Assist dealers with missing stock/parts.
• Assist and provide advice to others in the group with fitment issues or any other problem that can lead to continuous improvements.
• Assist R&D with confirmations or technical feedback with all customers at OEM, Dealer and Fitment Centre levels.
• Train staff at customers.
• Provide technical support to dealers and customers as required and solve technical issues.
• Technical product training on products.
• Communicate all quality complaints and other issues on products to Head Office for action.
• Record of and follow up on replacement bars using reference numbers.
• Provide prompt and efficient service to all customers in conjunction with the Sales Rep.
• Oversee and co-ordinate stock movements in the Cape Town Warehouse, customer deliveries and interface with the local courier service provider.
• Monthly stock take.
• Calculate monthly truck stock requirements for customers in the Western Cape area.
• Oversee the receipt and return of defective parts.
• Follow up with couriers regarding non-delivery of invoiced products.
• Complete and submit weekly technical call report.
• Assist Sales Rep on customer calls and grow the business and reputation as the preferred supplier in SA.
