They are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a background in engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the building sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities: * Lead and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion.

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against established plans, identifying and addressing any deviations or obstacles.
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, approving invoices, and forecasting costs.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of construction quality.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as design, engineering, procurement, and finance, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Requirements

Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the building sector, with a proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing construction projects.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing subcontractors/vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions to complex challenges.
