Position : Technical Project Coordinator - Fiber Construction
Work Hours (Client) : 80% overlap with US business hours (CST) (start at 3am/4am/5am CST)
Pay Range : $2000 - $2500 USD/month (varies based on skill set and experience level)
Location of Search : South Africa, Philippines, Latin America, or Any Region

Company/Client Overview:
We are a growing Telecom Construction Company supporting large-scale wireless infrastructure projects across the U.S. Our work involves aerial and underground builds, fiber deployment, and site coordination.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We're looking for a Project Coordinator with technical expertise in fiber construction to support the successful planning, documentation, and coordination of aerial and underground fiber buildouts. The ideal candidate is organized, fluent in construction documentation, and brings a non-negotiable understanding of Outside Plant (OSP) telecom construction, including how fiber infrastructure is designed, represented, and delivered in the field.
This is a hands-on, detail-heavy coordination role that requires both construction and telecom knowledge, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-changing environments.

• Coordinate and track multiple fiber construction projects (15-20 projects a month)
• Review and interpret fiber construction drawings, redlines, scopes of work, and as-built documentation
• Update and maintain project schedules in alignment with shifting field activities
• Manage logistics including site preparation, material delivery, and subcontractor coordination
• Handle purchase order (PO) tracking and validate invoices against completed work
• Support Project Managers with documentation, data entry, and reporting
• Maintain records, trackers, and shared documents using Excel and SharePoint
• Participate in regular coordination meetings and provide status updates
• Ensure all work aligns with project milestones and scope specifications

Minimum Requirements:
Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills (accent is acceptable)
Education: Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Industry: Telecommunications, Construction (Telecom, Civil, or Utility-focused), Wireless Infrastructure, Engineering Services (related to Telecom)

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or closely related field) required
• 3+ years of project coordination or project management experience in a construction environment
• Proven understanding of Outside Plant (OSP) telecom construction, including:

• Interpreting aerial and underground fiber construction maps
• Familiarity with terms like fiber lashing, strand placement, handholes, and splicing
• Ability to digest scopes of work and visualize field execution
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas), SharePoint, and Teams
• Strong communication skills -- able to work respectfully and effectively with field crews, vendors, and project leads
• Comfortable working in a candid and fast-moving construction environment where directness is appreciated and professionalism is expected.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent schedule changes
