MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED



Standard 10/Grade 12 or equivalent

National Diploma in Operations/Production Management(advantageous)

Formal training or certification in training methodologies

Certification or formal training in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies

Previous experience in the promotional branding or related industry.

Experience in managing and influencing external suppliers.

Understanding of standard operating procedures
Proven experience in process optimization, specifically in packaging or manufacturing environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.



Excellent communication and training skills.



Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and ergonomic best practices.



Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality standards.



Ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.


BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAKEY PERFORMANCE AREA



Evaluate current packing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.



Develop and implement optimized packing standards and procedures.



Specify and communicate packaging requirements to overseas suppliers to facilitate efficient unpacking and branding processes.(Need to communicate with Supply chain about how we collaborate on this)



Conduct regular quality control spot checks to ensure adherence to packaging specifications.



Improve short supply on orders to clients


Design, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive training programs for packing personnel to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.



Continuously monitor and enhance packing practices to minimize waste, prevent shortages, and ensure consistency in quality.



Assess ergonomics of packing operations to recommend and implement improvements, ensuring safety, productivity, and worker comfort.



Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, and branding teams to ensure alignment and efficiency in the packing process.
