Technical Lead - Energy Engineering - KlerksdorpWe have a position available for a Technical Lead - Energy Engineering in the Klerksdorp area.To qualify for this position, you will require: 3 - 5 years of experience working as a B.Tech Electrical or Mechanical Engineer. B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.You will be expected to: Energy Efficiency and Sustainability: Evaluating electrical consumption patterns and identifying opportunities to enhance energy efficiency. Recommending and implementing energy-saving initiatives, such as variable frequency drives and energy efficient lighting. Assessing the feasibility of renewable energy solutions, such as solar panels or wind turbines, to support sustainability goals. Collaborating with the sustainability team to integrate electrical solutions that reduce the company's carbon footprint. Monitoring and analyzing energy usage data to track the effectiveness of implemented initiatives. Providing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement in energy management practices.Renewable Energy: Support the development and implementation of renewable energy projects, such as solar power systems, wind turbines, or biomass energy systems. Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations for renewable energy installations. Assist in conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for renewable energy projects. Monitor and maintain renewable energy systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
