We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Technical Integrations Manager to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg, South Africa. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of API-based integrations between our platform and partner systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
Spearhead the design and implementation of API-based integrations, focusing on REST APIs, JSON, and secure authentication methods
Configure and test game sessions, wallet transactions, and reporting endpoints to ensure accurate data flow
Collaborate with project managers to successfully onboard new operator partners
Communicate complex technical details effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Lead code reviews, peer testing, and integration troubleshooting sessions
Diagnose and resolve integration issues, including timeouts, duplicate bets, and currency mismatches
Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems for integration stability
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks
Propose and implement improvements to APIs, workflows, and partner onboarding practices
Stay current with iGaming industry requirements, including compliance and responsible gaming standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in backend/API development or technical integrations
Strong working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP methods
Hands-on experience with Postman or similar API testing tools
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, or C#)
Experience with authentication methods (API keys, OAuth, HMAC signing)
Exposure to iGaming industry workflows (casino games, wallets, sessions, reporting)
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
Knowledge of database systems and SQL
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, innovative environment
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
Additional Information
Ideally, the candidate should be located in Johannesburg, as this is an in-office position.
