Technical Engineering Application Manager
Job Description
Own the full lifecycle of a portfolio of applications, including budgeting, performance, and roadmap planning.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary Agile delivery team (developers, analysts, testers, DevOps).
Establish and maintain modern software engineering practices (CI/CD, test automation, code reviews).
Drive DevSecOps culture and ensure adherence to the companies security and architectural standards.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and vendors to ensure delivery of business value.
Manage application risks, technical debt, and compliance with IT governance and regulatory requirements.
Relevant 3-year post-matric qualification in Information Systems or Engineering.
10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in software development and support team management.
Proven experience in enterprise application ownership, ALM and SDLC
Strong understanding of Agile delivery, DevSecOps , and application architecture.
Exposure to Microsoft and Open Systems technologies; cloud experience is a plus.
Strong experience with Governance & regulatory requirements, preferably within the financial services field
