Technical Designer / Architectural Technologist

Job Description
As the Technical Designer, you will oversee all aspects of technical design to ensure accuracy of product measurements, quality, construction, and fit.
Duties:
- Get project briefs from Project Managers, Creative Designers, or clients on projects.
- Ensuring detailed notes are taken during all above interactions.
- Responsible for Site Audits.
- Working with Creative Designers and Project Managers regarding technical aspects of projects and suppliers/contractors regarding solutions for certain technical issues.
- Creating detailed space planning layouts.
- Generating detailed Joinery drawings.
- Producing detailed construction drawings accurately and timeously.
- Attending project meetings with the Development Team, Architects and Project Managers.
- Attending site meetings that require input on the progress of technical design elements.
- Degree / Diploma in relevant field
- Minimum 3 years experience as a technical designer or in related field.
- Proficiency with required software
