MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Tertiary qualification in Agriculture (Degree or Diploma).
Minimum 8 years' experience in fruit industry and farming
Fresh product knowledge (Included but not limited: Table grape, citrus, blueberry, tomatoes, peppers, and onion)
Understanding the dynamics and interaction of fruit production, packaging, supply chain and marketing
Knowledge of Paltrack, Dipar or QX system will be advantageous.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
Excellent inter-personal skills with a proven ability to build, nurture and maintain relationships with growers, suppliers, receivers and internal staff
Strong administrative and time management skills
An in-depth and detailed knowledge of the industry, how it operates, the products and the personalities
Good computer skills (MS Office, Office 365 Outlook, Excel, and pivot tables
Comfortable working over multi-cultural boundaries
A naturally gifted communicator in verbal and the written word
Ability to multitask
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Proactive and energetic
Team player
Disciplined and focused
Ability to work under pressure within time constraints
Willing to complete a task which require additional time.
