Job Description
Red Ant - situated in Ceres, has been supplying innovative agricultural solutions and equipment to Southern Africa for over five decades.
We are currently recruiting for the following position:
TECHNICAL AGRI-SALES REPRESENTATIVE
This is a challenging career opportunity for an energetic, vibrant and professional person to join our sales team as an agricultural representative.
The primary focus of this position is promoting our product in a driven and knowledgeable manner in the agri - and especially - the fruit industry. The position requires a person with the ability to effectively learn and comprehend the technical know-how of our solutions, equipment and operations.
Performance indicators will be:
- customer relations
- retention of customers and expansion of business, sales and services
- ability to convey and apply highly developed technical concepts in a practical, comprehensible and comprehensive manner
- proactive after-sales service
- intelligible administration.
- tertiary qualification i.e. Agriculture/Sales
- knowledge and understanding of fruit farming and agricultural mechanical processes
- resilient, positive, self-assured and skills to function self- sufficiently.
