About the Role

As a Tech Help Engineer (LV1) on the Starters & Leavers team, you will serve as a primary technical point of contact for onboarding and offboarding processes. You will work closely with HR, Information Security & Tech teams to ensure seamless transitions for new joiners and departing employees by coordinating and managing the full lifecycle of pre-boarding, onboarding, and offboarding activities. This includes provisioning and deprovisioning user accounts, access rights and delivering exceptional support to internal users across multiple regions.

What you'll do:

Serve as the primary technical contact for onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new joiners and leavers. Provide Pre-boarding, Onboarding and Offboarding customer support coordination. Planning and implementing the IT onboarding and offboarding processes end to end. Support issues in a timely manner as reported by users or internal teams (HR & IT) and help reach a resolution by liaising with internal IT/HR support teams and third parties. Take ownership of requests by capturing all relevant information and recording the detail in the Service management system. Assist onsite engineers with equipment collection during employee offboarding. Request fulfilment - action and complete user access requests (Starters - account creations, Leavers - account removals/disablements and Access amendments). Escalate more technical issues to the appropriate support teams.

Provide top-quality support with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness. Strong customer services skills to promptly respond to tickets and questions. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and solid attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good ability to document processes and the ability to departmentalise problems. Exposure to onboarding/offboarding workflows. Experience in user access management and responsibilities. Capability to perform effectively under pressure and take charge of tasks and customer challenges. Ability to work with sensitive information (confidentiality in handling user data) Active Directory, Office 365 Admin Centres, and G-Suite administration. Knowledge of Teams, Slack, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office 365 Applications. Troubleshoot basic login, MFA and tools access issues. Knowledge of basic troubleshooting in issues related to malware, viruses, phishing, and other security threats.

Communication

Strong verbal, written, and e-mail communication skills. Experience working with international stakeholders is an added advantage.
