Job Title: Teamcenter Administrator
Area: Cape Town (Airport City)

Salary: Market related (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Teamcenter Admin. As a Teamcenter Admin, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting our Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and provide technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation and optimal utilization of the Teamcenter platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in PLM systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with
various stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in mechanical, electrical, software or data engineering
  • Knowledge of CAD platforms such as NX, Catia or SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management concepts
  • Previous experience or exposure to Teamcenter
  • Programming Experience in VB, C++ and/or java
  • Knowledge of Database administration in SQL, Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and maintain the Teamcenter PLM system, including user access, security settings, roles, and permissions.
  • Configure and customize Teamcenter to meet the specific requirements of the organization.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and installations, ensuring minimal disruption to the user community.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary optimizations.
  • Provide technical support to users, addressing their inquiries, issues, and concerns related to the Teamcenter system.
  • Conduct user training sessions and develop training materials to enhance user proficiency and maximize system utilization.
  • Collaborate with users and key stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and propose system improvements optimizations.

  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency, performing regular data audits and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data governance best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and other stakeholders to integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CAD, and PLM-related tools.
  • Configure workflows, business rules, and process automation within the Teamcenter system to optimize business processes.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including system architecture, configuration, and process workflows.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Teamcenter releases, features, and industry trends.
  • Evaluate and propose system enhancements, including new modules, functionalities, and integrations, to improve system capabilities and user experience.
