Job Summary

An exciting vacancy exists for a Team leader: Postilion based in Pretoria.

Role Purpose:

To ensure 100% uptime of all Card Systems in the group. The secondary role is to develop software to enhance the operations and adapt software for
client requirements. The environment it dynamic and changes frequently. After hours emergency support is required.

Skills and Experience
o Experience in Managing and Leading a Postilion team of Application Specialists / Developers.
o Leading a team by example by being both hands-on technical execution (80%) and Management (20%) of the team.
o Minimum 5 years working experience in a Postilion environment.
o Minimum 5 years experience within Issuing, POS Acquiring / TermAPP, Application Builder.
o Experience with Postilion Interchanges:
- PostBridge, Nexbridge, Base24, VisaBase12, VisaSMS, Visa, MasterCard (Cr/Dr), BankservAfrica, Active/Active

o Experience with ATM Driving xe2x80x93 ATMAPP / Application Builder (NCR and Diebold).
o Experience with 3DSecure / E-Commerce acquiring.
o Extensive experience with MSSQL database engine.
o Extensive experience with development language like (C / C++ / C# / F# / Java /T-SQL/ Python, Perl).
o Sound knowledge of Cryptography, ISO8583 protocol, HSM, Virtual Machines, computer networks.
o Sound knowledge of DevOps deployment.

Qualifications
o B. Tech (Information systems/ Computer Systems) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Eng. (Electronic / Electronic / Computer)
o Matric or equivalent qualification

Job Duties:

  • You will lead, manage and work in a team with the following responsibilities:
o Lead and manage by example the day to day activities and health of the Team
and the System.
o Continues improvement of the Team and System.
o Strategic alignment with the Groupxe2x80x99s objectives.
o Mentoring junior staff members.
o Transaction switching to MasterCard, Visa, BankservAfrica, third party processors
and directly to back-end systems.
o Card production.
o Generation of daily reports to finance.
o Hardware integration.
o Production stability.

o Software testing.
o Certification with VISA, Mastercard, Reserve bank, BankservAfrica.
o Assess, develop, upgrade and document procedures for systems, communications environments and application software.
o Consulting with Service Integration Managers, Executive Head: Infrastructure, Head: Production and fellow colleagues concerning maintenance/enhancements and development of the system.
o Document and direct software testing and validation procedures.
o Modifying existing software to correct errors to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performances.
o Research, analyse and evaluate requirements for software applications and operating systems.
o Advice on areas that could be improved on and keep up to date with new trends in software development and technologies that can be used to benefit the Company.
