Packhouse Supervisor/Captain
positions are available at Greenway Farms (Tarlton - Gauteng) The position is responsible to oversee daily packhouse operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and compliance with food safety regulations.. Souitable Candidates must have Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field. 2-5 years of packhouse or production experience. Supervisory or management experience.Minimum Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities
Production Management:
Supervise packhouse staff and assign tasks. Monitor production schedules and meet targets. Optimize packing processes and efficiency.
Quality Control:
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. Conduct regular inspections of packed produce. Implement quality control procedures.
Food Safety and Hygiene:
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene. Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations. Conduct regular cleaning and sanitation schedules.
Inventory Management:
Manage inventory levels and ordering. Ensure accurate stock records. Minimize waste and optimize stock utilization.
Staff Management:
Train and develop packhouse staff. Conduct performance evaluations. Address staff concerns and resolve issues.
Maintenance and Repair:
Ensure equipment maintenance and repair. Schedule routine maintenance. * Troubleshoot equipment issues.
