Purpose:
To lead and supervise the cleaning team in maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards across the RTE production facility, ensuring compliance with GMP, GFSI Intermediate, and internal protocols.
Key Duties:
Supervise daily cleaning activities and ensure adherence to cleaning schedules.
Ensure compliance with GMP, hygiene protocols, and food safety standards.
Conduct inspections and verify cleaning effectiveness across all zones.
Train and mentor cleaning staff on SOPs, chemical usage, and hygiene practices.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to minimize disruption during cleaning.
Maintain accurate cleaning records and ensure documentation is completed.
Report non-conformances, equipment issues, or hygiene risks to management.
Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent; supervisory experience in food production preferred.
Strong knowledge of GMP, hygiene standards, and cleaning procedures.
Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively.
Physically fit and able to work in cold/wet environments.
Attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
